OMG. I want a love like Charlie & Amir and Kesha & Harris. I don't want to give it away but everyone has there share of issues and but oh when they come through their storms, it shows that love does in deed conquer all. I know it's a book but I am a strong believer in one person's imagination is another person's reality and we have all been through some stuff. Sometimes you never know where you're strength comes from and even when you think you have anymore left or have given up you find when pushed you have more there than you may have ever thought. A bit of a tear jerker but a great read. A great example of love conquering all.Product details

Heartbeat edition by Tara Ellis Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This was an excellent book! I read it in a day! The characters were real and believable; you could really connect with the three major character's plots! Tara Ellis is a gifted writer and I will continue to read her works!
This was a very great book. Very addicting. It was also touching. I enjoyed. The author made it very easy, fun, and enjoyable to read. I give it 5 stars.
This book had me in tears at the end, what Charlie found with Amir i want, lol. Wow, i am just flabbergasted by the end , great book ms Ellis, keep it up
This book took me by surprise, I enjoyed it greatly. I wanted more at the end, was sad about the ending of the story. Wish it could have ended differently with all that is happening in today's society.
This story was definitely more than your typical urban novel. It tackled mental illness, domestic issues, and life cut short. I was pleasantly surprised yet heartbroken. As real as the ending was,I hoped that it would go another route. Either way, this was a great read.
In the midst of the craziness of these women's lives, love, no true love found them. Love whispered hope, truth, stability and a chance to heal.
Can't believe how it ended but it was an amazing story all the same.
The author did a wonderful job. It kept my attention from the beginning, all the way to the end. I love when an author uses their creative writing skills; to create characters and settings that anyone can relate to. Also, there wasn't no fairy tale ending. The ending was based on reality. It was sad that Charlie lost someone dear and true to her heart. Kesha is a survivor. Lake, fell though the cracks; things could of turned out better for her. Another, thing I appreciate about the this author and Tarreka Allen is; that they are writing about an issue that is ignored in the minority community. Mental illness.
In closing, if anyone wants to read a novel that is not based on drug lords, strippers, and about the streets. This novel is for you. I can't wait for the author next novel.
